In SGI, a group of like-minded students and employees in the gastronomy fields who are related to the fine arts and social sciences & even to the Natural science in terms of the digestive system of the human body are there. Gastronomy studies various cultural components with food as its central axis. Thus it is related to the Fine Arts and Social Sciences, and even to the Natural Sciences in terms of the digestive system of the human body.

Gastronomy is therefore an interdisciplinary activity of tasting, experiencing, researching, understanding and writing about foods. Cooking and culinary skills are an intricate part of any family. Somewhat akin to the language spoken and the values cherished, cooking reflects the sensibilities of a home.
